6 Sins That Can Erase Your Name From The Book Of Life

When you receive Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life, God’s angels use a golden pen, and gold ink to write your name in God’s Book of Life kept in Heaven (see Revelation 3:5)..

However, your name is kept recorded in the Book of Life on one condition. You have to continue being faithful to our Father in Heaven, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit until your time comes to enter heaven.

Forsaking Jesus Christ.
If at one time you received Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life, and later you went back to your old sinful ways of living, then God’s angels will erase your name from the Book Of Life.

Disobeying God (Rebellion).
When our Father in Heaven tells you to do something, and you refuse to do what he has told you to do, then your name can be completely erased from the Book of Life. This is what happened to the young prophet in 1 Kings 13:1-25.

Refusing to repent.
If you sin against God, and you refuse to repent, then God’s angels can completely erase your name from the Book of Life.

False repentance.
If a Christian does not repent from the bottom of his heart, and he commits the same sin again, and again, then God’s angels will remove his name from the Book of Life.

Ignoring God’s warnings.
If you have been a faithful Christian, and God warns you that sin has entered your life, but you don’t pay any attention, then your name can be completely erased from the Book of Life.

Causing another person to commit suicide.
If you were a faithful Christian, and you now do something evil that causes another person to commit suicide, then it will be difficult for your name to remain in God’s Book of Life. Your name cannot be listed with the names of righteous people (see Psalm 69:28).
