A CRY TO DEAR MOTHER…

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

 Amen

“Dear Mother, I surrender to you all that I am and have.

I am called to give you my life. It doesn’t matter that I am broken.

It doesn’t matter that I am wounded. My wound becomes

a fissure that opens me. I don’t want to close the wound.

I don’t want to seal the fissure. Thank you, Mother,

for loving me. Thank you for being with me. Thank you

for walking at my side every step of the way. Thank you

for being a mother who will never leave me in times of difficulty.

Thank you for being my Mother.”

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known

that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help,

or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee,

O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee do I come,

before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,

but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Glory be, to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,

a world without end. AMEN

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

 Amen
