THREE THINGS TO BE WARY OF THAT THE DEVIL USES TO KEEP YOU FROM GOD

The devil uses several tactics to keep us away from God. Recognizing and praying against this is the first step towards defeating him. Satan would like nothing more than for people to stop worshipping the good Lord. He might be powerless against believers but he is smart, cunning and a liar. These are just three of the ways the devil will use;

  1. THE DEVIL USES THE WORLD AS A DISTRACTION

Most people tend to draw back from doing the will of God, because they get distracted by the world. Satan tempts with worldly riches for their souls. We can see the beauty and majesty of the world as God created it. God loves us the most, but the earthly riches can never be more beautiful and majestic than the Lord Himself and His love.

  1. HE MAKES THE LITTLE TIME YOU SPEND WITH GOD SEEM EXHAUSTING AND BORING.

The devil will do anything to try and take God’s children away, not because he cares for humans but because he is trying to compete with GOD and destroy His creation. And one of his tactics is to scare us with, difficulties when praying and worshipping God making us weak in spirit. Satan will try to make us feel that doing all things to God’s glory and sacrificing our earthly lives for God are all worthless. He will even make us see how the devoted suffers.

  1. THE DEVIL WILL GIVES LIFE PROBLEMS TO DIVERT OUR MIND FROM GOD.

Ever noticed how life gets hard, one problem after another. Or demanding jobs that keeps you exhausted to even say a prayer, these are all tricks the devil uses to keep you from God. But we haven’t, and we shall not rest on glorifying the Lord. Remember in the word of God 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18 says “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” Be inspired to do more and keep praising God in all situations.

These are just three, but make no mistake the devil will try every means he can to separate you from doing the will of God or getting salvation.
